Google Labs' Similar Images
Google Labs has done it again -- this time, with Similar Images -- capability that puts a Similar Images link below relevant thumbnails in Google's image search results. By clicking the Similar Images link, Google then provides a fairly accurate refinement of your image search. Totally cool!
Yeah, google has done a lot of neat things, but I'm getting increasingly worried about the now-shareholder-owned profit-above-all-else potential behind the private 'deals' they struck with some of the best research libraries, authors, etc. Imagine: creating the biggest book monopoly in the world, likely effective in perpetuity, without ever needing to file a single copyright claim, renewal, or go before any accreditation body. Scary. As Darnton put it in the NY Review of Books: "If approved by the court—a process that could take as much as two years—the settlement will give Google control over the digitizing of virtually all books covered by copyright in the United States." And it puts this corp firmly in control, control being the deciding factor in all ownership rights. http://www.nybooks.com/articles/22281

Those two launches are known as the adidas NMD R1 Base Green and the adidas NMD R1 Bold Onix.For those residing in the states, this information probably won’t help you much as it was an European exclusive. It also doesn’t appear that they will be available stateside anytime soon.The two makeups Yeezy Boost 350 of the adidas NMD shown are Fall ready. The first comes in Base Green, Core Black and White while the second features a Onix, Bold Onix and Core Black color combination. Using a wider mesh that we saw on the ‘Rainbow’ pair, each are completed with the Yeezy Shoes traditional White Boost midsole.For those interested in purchase the ‘Bold Onix’ and ‘Base Green’ adidas NMD, they are available now at Foot Locker Europe. Set to launch in the coming months is the adidas NMD City Sock ‘Core Black’.The latest City Sock edition of the adidas NMD is once again, dressed in a simple theme of Black and White. Looking closer, the shoes feature a predominate Black upper while nmd runner constructed mesh that uses a woven pattern. Using the sock like collar, Black is also used the heel, pod overlays and through the outsole. adidas Originals continues to ramp up their releases that celebrate the 2016 Olympic Games being held in Rio. The next launch we have to showcase features the classic adidas Superstar. Now available is the adidas Superstar ‘Rio de Janeiro’.This adidas Superstar made for Rio comes in a Blue, White and Beige color scheme. The base comes Yeezy Boost 350 Oxford Tan in White leather while the Three Stripes and on the heel mixes Blue and White for a surfboard and skateboard graphic. While also using recycled material, the midsole and outsole which features Gum has speckled detailing.Below are additional photos of the adidas Superstar Rio de Janeiro which adidas nmd will give you a better look. They have released today, July 31st, 2016 at adidas Originals retailers.
