Salam Pax The adventure of an Iraqi blogger continues. He's now been signed to write a biweekly column for a British newspaper. Salam Pax became famous worldwide in the weeks leading up to the American invasion of Iraq, as he detailed daily life of Baghdad. His blog is a personal view of life in Iraq, and more importantly, of the Iraqi people and to some extent, of Arabs in general. While he didn't like, support or cared for the Iraqi regime, he also he didn't care much for the American bombs that liberated his country. A quote from his site:
---------- "the West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact, non-Westerners never do." ---------- Samuel P. Huntington
