Portfolio Management
Here's something that's apparent to anyone in a process based organization -- "the process, and not technology, makes for effective IT governance." It drives me up the wall when I'm talking to technology people and they just don't get it -- the mindset of many is still a couple of years behind, where it was spend, spend, spend. This article from InformationWeek, talks about portfolio management, and it's application to the management of IT -- where IT assets and projects are analyzed in terms of goals, risks, costs and returns. Business groups have been practicing this for years, however IT is only now getting started on managing themselves as a business.

Who Would Jesus Hate? -- described as providing "anecdotal evidence of how religion is on the wrong side of every social issue." Fugetaboutit! -- hilarious site from a "48-year-old shrinking Italian comedian ." Take the tagline for instance: "I saw the face of Jesus in my lasagna ... briefly."
