Plastic Chips

Plastic is everywhere. It's cheap. And it's about to revolutionize the chip industry if a few people succeed with their plans to put low power chips, batteries and LCDs together on plastic -- looks like they will too. The applications are endless -- from digital newspapers to displays on the milk carton -- to the often-spoke about "internet of things" -- where our consumer goods will communicate and share information amongst themselves -- maybe even buy and sell themselves instead of us getting involved.
