Anti-Santy

I reported a few days ago of the Santy worm that was spreading across the net, infecting PHP based boards. Well, here comes the Anti-Santy, whose origins point to Argentina. The Anti-Santy worm uses the same protocol as the Santy worm. It searches Google for PHP based boards, then infects them. Once infected, the Anti-Santy then proceeds to close the hole in PHP that allows the infection. No news yet whether the Anti-Santy leaves behind any lumps of coal to the sites it fixes, although there have been news from frustrated administrators that Anti-Santy is causing DoS attacks to their perfectly safe sites.

The site describes itself as a gathering place for torrents with progressive and radical content. As for now, it preserves a special place for the work of American dissident Noam Chomsky, as the domain name suggests. I didn't know Chomsky was a dissident -- but I suppose that's one way of describing him in the current American environment.
