Tsunami Satellite Pictures

DigitalGlobe has satellite images of the tsunami impacted areas of Asia with before and after shots. If the footage of horror from TV sources haven't conveyed the destruction to you, see how chunks of cities have been erased from the landscape in these images. Horrendous doesn't even start to describe it. It's as if the tsunami wanted to remove any evidence that people once lived there.

The site describes itself as a gathering place for torrents with progressive and radical content. As for now, it preserves a special place for the work of American dissident Noam Chomsky, as the domain name suggests. I didn't know Chomsky was a dissident -- but I suppose that's one way of describing him in the current American environment.
