Finding Nemo I was taken to see the movie on Father's Day by my girls. I've always been a fan of Pixar Studio's work, and this one was no exception. The animation, the characters ... it was all well done. It's amazing the characterizations the animators could produce with fish. I highly recommend this movie for anyone with kids, as it will keep the little tykes occupied for a couple of hours. As a date movie, it would be great as well. While North Americans continue to think of animation as kids fare, it's not, and this movie, although it has a 'G' rating, is entertainment for anyone seeking entertainment. It's just plain fun!

This has got to be one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. Researchers cut holes into the sides of cows and insert an cannula, which allows access to a live animals stomach. These holes are so big, you can actually see what's going on inside -- literally, reach into the stomach of a cow. Cows stomach have millions microbes that aid in digestion, and surprisingly, cannulated cows are usually the healthiest of the herd. You would think that walking around with a hole in your stomach would be bad for you, but apparently not. The site describes itself as a gathering place for torrents with progressive and radical content. As for now, it preserves a special place for the work of American dissident Noam Chomsky, as the domain name suggests. I didn't know Chomsky was a dissident -- but I suppose that's one way of describing him in the current American environment.
