Nanotech Dangers
I just read this Wired article about the dangers of nanotechnology. Some recent studies have shown some alarming results, such as brain and lung damage -- there's speculation that nano materials are small enough to cross cell walls an disrupt an organism's DNA. It's already known that some nano materials can kill bacteria -- great for if you want to fight germs -- but what if it got out in the environment and starts killing bacteria that's beneficial to the environment?
