Rwanda Genocide
In 1993, 18 American soldiers were killed in Somalia. When the body of one American soldier was dragged through the streets, America picked up and left. When in 1994, Hutu extremists then took to the streets of Rwanda with guns, clubs and machetes, America refused to get involved. 100 days later, 1 million people lay dead -- slaughtered, while the world did nothing. There is no understanding what happened in Rwanda. And to think the world vowed that what happened in Nazi Germany would never be repeated. Gas chambers don't need to be employed -- evil is very resourceful.
