Titan's Surface

Images are already coming back from Cassini, from its orbit around Saturn. The spacecraft has sent back images of Titan, Saturn's giant moon that has conditions that were present on Earth, millions of years ago. The surface images reveal a lot of features that need to be interpreted, but suggest geological activity on Titan. In the next four years, Cassini will make 45 more flybys of TItan -- in January 2005, it will drop the Huygens probe to Titan's surface -- there are lots more discoveries to make!
