World Fare

The ladies and I went to Harbourfront's World Fare on Friday. We saw Kiran Ahluwalia and Besh o droM. Both of whom I enjoyed. I preferred Ahluwalia singing in Punjabi -- and Besh o droM were just friggin loud! Not that there is anything wrong with that mind you -- though their music did seem a tad repetitive. They could have done well to use that vocalist of theirs a little more. She was pretty good. To sample a little of Besh o droM, download this clip [1.7MB]. It's in the DivX format -- you'll need the latest codec [4.02MB]. I took some pictures of both performances, and placed them in a few Webshots galleries. Click the thumbnails below to see them.

The passengers get into cars that ride around on the wheel. http://www.dabydeen.com The ladies and I went out to Harbourfront for the World Fare Festival on July 2nd.
